I didn't read it in parts. I deliberately waited for the entire thing to appear. Great story, great plot, superb writing and awesome atmosphere creation. And of course, great climax as well. Did you get this published somewhere?

i do think this should be published some where. Or else, write a bunch of short stories, and publish a book....

Sourin, thank you. That was very sweet.

Sunil, thank you for that much-needed encouragement. I will soak up all I can get!

Hi, lovely story. The style is simple yet so fluid and so warm that it reminded me of my home. But I found the end to be a bit of anticlimax. Didnt expect a curse to be the end. :)
I will be eagerly looking forward to reading more stories.

Hi Sujatha
Enjoyed reading your story(I-IV).
I agree with the the above reader, the ending was a bit anticlimax.
I was waiting to see where the relationship would head after they come clean.
But on the other hand, your ending goes well with your title.
I only wished the last part had the same intensity as the rest of the story.
Hope to see more stories in the future..keep them coming:-)

Hi Soumya and Rajeshwari, thank you for reading the story.

About the ending, my intention was not to suggest that the curse was the explanation for their predicament. It was meant to be a third perspective. Do you believe in fate? Is the because the curse that somehow "fate" had a hand in Suman and Ravi got married to each other? Each one so strongly believes that their explanation is the one that is the cause, but which one do you believe in? Is believing in fate the easy way out? We don't have to take responsibility for our actions then.
