... to say hello. After two weeks in Europe, we're finally back home. Still out of pocket in terms of a few things (such as the internet). Will be back on line in a few days and hope to have settled in better by then.
In the meantime, thank you for all your comments. I promise I'll respond to them once I'm online.
Cheers!

Welcome Home Suj! I'm off to India for the next few wekks.
Oi, call!
you were in europe? and didnt visit me??? I am going to pout!
Hey, where did you go to in Europe? I live here in now, in a country beloved of Indian song and dance sequences :-).
DG, where do you live?
J,
I live in Essex, just outside London. You Swiz?
Found your blog through a complex maze of other blogs that I cant quite remember. Dropping by to let you know that your style of writing is very engaging, literate, non pompous and down to earth. The post on "the expression of an adult while feeding child.." is perhaps best representative of this facet. Keep up your good work!!
Well, didnt mean to be anonymous.
Yes, DG, in Geneva. Just moved 3 months ago.
Hmm ! Settle down and start writing !! Looking forward to reading..
J:
coool! how do you like it? how long are u gonna be there?
Suj:
Tried the Mojito last night. Wow! That rum sure packed a punch! TGIF spoiled it for me by chucking a whole herb garden of mint in there rather than a few sprigs so I was a bit bummed!
DG, we're here for the conceivable future. Still getting used to it but it is kind of cool...and it's beautiful.
good to know :)
I visited Geneva, the lake region and Montreaux couple of years back - Lake Geneva region was magic! It must be like living in Heaven!
please go writing..Blogging is good for the body and mind
hi
Hope you are settling in well. When are you back to blogging?? I miss your blogs.
Cheers :)
So, I came across your blog the other day..and I am hooked!!! You have an amazing style of writing!!! I just love all of your posts esp. the ones on your kids....keep writing!!!
M, thank you! Have a great time in India!
Ph, Oi, can't wait to to hang out with the kids again. :))
DG, was in France and Italy. Too far this time around mate. :) And about the Mojito - they're supposed to crush the mint, not grind it to a paste, which is the other major mistake I discovered in Bangkok. Oh well, I'll always have Saigon. :)
Jawahara, Nice, Naples (and Amalfi) and Rome. Had a glorious time. Totally exhausted at the end of trip (which came at the end of two weeks of non-stop packing). But it was worth it. Had half a mind to try to hook up with you but it just seemed too complicated. Do hope it happens sooner rather than later.
Hi SS, good to be back!
Mookuthi, got online just today. So much stuff to write. Got to get my act together. Thanks for that comment. :)
Srinidhi, thanks a lot for such a nice comment and thanks for reading. :)
Avinash, what a lovely comment! Thanks for reading and thanks for taking the time to write it. Means a lot.
