Karadi Tales' Will You Write With Me? Contest

From my inbox:
Karadi Tales, India’s pioneer and leading producer of children’s audio-books announces the ‘Will You Write With Me?’ contest. Here’s a chance to win a publishing contract with one of India’s foremost children’s publishers! The three best entries will be published in an audio-book narrated by the inimitable Jaaved Jaaferi. The winners will sign a publishing contract with Karadi Tales.

For details on the contest and to read the first half of the story, visit www.karaditales.com. This contest is open to everyone! Entries must be received on or before 28 February 2010. Email your entries to contest@karaditales.com.
The first part of the story they want entrants to complete is pretty intriguing. If you intend to enter the contest, all the best to you!

Dare I? I am checking it out!

It appears they are looking for India's writers and they ask a lot of personal info. Are they legitimate?

@She Writes,

Thanks for looking at our website. We're not really asking for a lot of personal info. We're asking for the following: Name, Date of birth, Permanent address, Telephone number, Email address, A short biography, Title of the entry. I'm sure you'll realise that the name, address, email, telephone number etc. are for contact purposes and that we require the title of the entry to match writers to their stories. We ask for the date of birth and a short biography because we'll need both these details when we publish the list of winners on our website. I think you'll find that most writing contests the world over ask for these details. If you wish to know more about us, feel free to write to us at contact@karaditales.com or contest@karaditales.com. I'd be happy to answer your queries. I hope you enter the contest. Good luck!

I really like your writing style, its not generic and extremly long and tedious like a lot of blog posts I read, you get to the point and I really enjoy reading your articles! Thanks for sharing..
