Sands, thanks! I missed the motherlode we had over Christmas, was in India. So making the most of what we're getting now!
Priyanka, thanks! Yes, these are the ones from Wednesday morning. I wish the light were the little better though. Or perhaps I should improve my camera skills, eh?
These are stunning, Sujatha! Absolutely gorgeous, breathtaking! Having lived in Montana for many years I do miss being able to capture these kinds of shots, although I was no where near being as involved with photography as I am now! Thanks for sharing the beauty! Have a great weekend and stay warm!
The kindergaarten of the East is awash with kids going beserk doing art in silver streaks, little pieces tinkling across the trees, winking up at the teacher, Mrs Sun.
She appears occasionally, beaming mildly, at their work, amazed herself at the vastness of the white.
But patience is a virtue, one must wait, and so she smiles indulgently at the kids and the trees laden with silver....
She will come out later, gradually, a bit more strict and strong, making the kindergaarten green and red and yellow, and spring.... once again..
I post all the poems i do on my poetry blog Strewn Ashes, alongside the picture which has inspired the verse. I wanted to request your permission to use one of your lovely snow photographs along side the verse (which i posted here earlier). I always acknowledge the photographer in the poetry post...

Love the pictures. I was lucky enough to have the sun come out Wednesday morning before I left for work to help with the lighting on my phoyos.
