Credit for Header

This blog's new header has received a few compliments so I thought I should direct credit where credit was due.

We were driving back to our hotel from Amber Palace when we came across this arts and crafts store just outside the Pink City. We stopped and my husband sprinted back a few yards to take a photograph. When I put it up as the header, Aspi generously offered to crop it and make the title all nice and such. Something like 10 tries later, there it was! Poifect!

Its the picture, really. Its a veritable law that pink elephants, peacocks and parrots look terrific when thrown on something together.

The width doesn't fit my 1024x768 screen. Unless you deliberately wanted it not to, kindly crop or re-size the image.

Thanks.

It is a lovely header - and so Indian!

PS. have tagged you on a meme at http://rain-bowdays.blogspot.com and looking forward to your meme!

Abi, TGFI, BEV, thanks. :)

Aspi, I loved the title lettering and font too. Is there anything we can do about Vivek's problem? I'm going to try and fit it into 1024 x768 and see if that helps. If it doesn't work, I'm going to holler! :)

Vivek, as you can see, trying.

BEV, will check out the tag.

Have resized it and like it, but the edges look strange now. What do you think?

I liked it before :(

It is aligned perfectly on the left. But it extends too far to the right. I am using Firefox, and by screen resolution is 1024x768.

I just downloaded the header image, and it is sized 1024x290. The width would have to be reduced to something like 800 or so for it to fit the frame. You can check the exact size of the frame in the code of your template.

OTOH.. since I seem to be the only one having this issue.. you might as well let it be!

Vivek, the issue is this: Blogpourri uses a dynamic template. Essentially, the second column resizes itself to fit the screen. So Blogpourri doesn't really have a fixed size at all.

So when doing the image (which always has a fixed size), Suj picked an optimal size - which happens to be this one. To align the image and columns perfectly on the right, you'd have to nail down the size of the columns.
